Terms of Service

Last updated: April 20, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Meera Tours (“Meera”, “we”, “us”, “our”, or “the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Non-Agency and Software Status

Meera Tours is an AI-powered software platform for itinerary planning. We are not a travel agent, tour operator, or provider of travel services. We do not participate in the fulfilment of travel contracts, and we do not act as merchant of record for any travel transaction. Use of our software does not constitute a travel agency contract.

Meera helps you research and organise trip ideas through conversational AI and a visual planning tool. When you’re ready to book, Meera provides links to third-party travel providers where you complete the booking directly on their site. Meera does not collect payment for travel, does not issue tickets, and does not appear as the merchant on your credit card statement for any travel purchase.

3. Third-Party Contractual Privity

The Service provides links to third-party travel providers (“Suppliers”). When you book travel via these links, you are entering into a direct contract with that Supplier. Meera Tours is not a party to that contract. We assume no responsibility for the Supplier’s performance, pricing accuracy, cancellations, schedule changes, refunds, or errors. All such matters are between you and the Supplier. For any issue with a booking, you must contact the Supplier directly.

4. AI Accuracy and Hallucination Disclaimer

Itineraries, recommendations, and search results on Meera are generated by Artificial Intelligence. While we strive for accuracy, AI systems are probabilistic and may produce “hallucinations,” including inaccurate pricing, references to closed locations, outdated safety information, or incorrect travel requirements such as visas or vaccinations.

You are solely responsible for independently verifying all flight, hotel, pricing, and safety details before making any non-refundable purchase. Always confirm current pricing, availability, and policies on the Supplier’s own website before booking.

5. AI Interaction Disclosure

You are interacting with an AI system when using the Meera chat and planning tools. Responses are generated by large language models and do not constitute professional travel advice. Where required by applicable law (including Article 50 of the EU AI Act), we provide clear notice of AI-generated content throughout the Service.

6. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use Meera. By creating an account or using our services, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

7. Subscription — Access to AI Software

Meera offers subscription plans (Free, Pro at $99/year, and Business at $49.99/month) and a one-time per-trip unlock ($4.99) that provide varying levels of access to our AI planning software and associated features.

Your subscription is for access to AI software only. Subscription payments are not advance payments for travel services, and do not entitle you to travel, lodging, transport, or any specific booking. Subscription fees are billed through Stripe and can be cancelled at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. The per-trip unlock is a one-time digital content purchase and is non-refundable once activated.

8. No Participation in Restitution Funds

Meera is not a participant in the California Travel Consumer Restitution Fund (TCRF), and is not enrolled in any state or national travel-seller protection scheme. Purchases made through linked Suppliers are not protected by any Meera-backed scheme; they are subject only to the Supplier’s own consumer protections. Please consult the Supplier’s terms before booking.

9. Non-Package Notice (EU Residents)

Where Meera refers you to additional travel services for the same trip, each booking is a separate contract with the individual Supplier. These arrangements do not constitute a package under the EU Package Travel Directive. No protection under that directive applies to any individual booking made through our referral links.

10. Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities under it. We may require email verification. Notify us immediately at [email protected] of any unauthorised access.

11. User Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information when using the Service (names, travel dates, preferences)
  • Independently verify all AI-generated suggestions before acting on them
  • Ensure your travel documents (passports, visas, vaccinations, permits) are valid for your intended trip
  • Review each Supplier’s terms and prices on their own site before booking
  • Comply with all applicable travel regulations and Supplier policies
  • Do not attempt to manipulate, abuse, or reverse-engineer the Service

12. Limitation of Liability

Meera provides the Service “as is” and “as available.” We are not liable for:

  • Actions, omissions, or failures of any Supplier
  • Flight delays, cancellations, re-bookings, or changes made by airlines or other carriers
  • Inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information displayed by the AI or retrieved from third-party APIs
  • Loss of baggage, personal injury, visa or border issues, or any other travel-related incidents
  • Indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the Service
  • Any booking or transaction you enter into with a Supplier

Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Meera in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100 if no payment was made.

13. Affiliate Relationships

Meera participates in affiliate and referral programmes with selected Suppliers. When you click certain links on our site and make a booking on the Supplier’s own site, Meera may earn a referral commission. This does not affect the price you pay — you pay the same price as if you visited the Supplier directly. Affiliate relationships do not influence the Service’s AI suggestions; our models optimise for your stated preferences, not commissions.

14. Intellectual Property

The Meera brand, logo, software, AI prompts, and trip content templates are our proprietary property. You may not copy, modify, distribute, scrape, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.

15. Privacy

Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your data. We do not transmit your personal information to Suppliers during the handoff to their site — you re-enter your own details on each Supplier’s booking page.

16. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You agree to resolve disputes individually, not as part of a class action. Disputes regarding a Supplier’s performance must be addressed to the Supplier, not to Meera.

17. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

18. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time via the data deletion feature in settings.

19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights you have under the laws of your country of residence.

20. Contact

For questions about these Terms, contact us at [email protected].
