Getting There & Around
Petra is 3 hours south of Amman by car. JETT buses run daily from Amman. Hiring a driver is recommended for flexibility. Within Petra, walking is the only option — horse carriages cover the Siq. Local taxis in Wadi Musa town are cheap. Some tours combine Petra with Wadi Rum.
