Getting There & Around
A rental car is essential — Maui has limited public transit. The Maui Bus runs some routes but is not practical for tourism. Uber/Lyft coverage is limited. The airport is in Kahului; resorts are 30-60 minutes away. The Road to Hana should not be attempted in the dark.
